What did you do this past week?

This past week, I finished up the Allocator project with my partner and got it turned in. After that, I focused on going to class, paying attention to lectures, and finishing up work for some of my other classes.

What’s in your way?

Currently, there is nothing in my way. I just need to be diligent with working on my assignments for the week.

What will you do next week?

Next week, I will work on getting the Darwin Project set up, and beginning to work on the project. I will also complete the assignments for some of my other classes.

If you read it, what did you think of Ethical CS?

I feel like ethics in Computer Science is a very important topic to learn, and everyone should have some knowledge about this topic. Due to this, I feel like it was very valuable for me.

What was your experience of lambdas, initializations, std::initializer_list, and std::vector? (this question will vary, week to week)

These were good topics to learn about, as I did not know much C++ before coming into these classes, so these topics were almost brand new for me to learn. To me, they are a bit more confusing than what we have learned previously in this class, but I am definitely going to review the lectures and make it clearer.

What made you happy this week?

I got to spend time with some of my old highschool friends this weekend, and that made me happy!

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My pick of the week is Microsoft OneNote! I use it to take notes on my iPad for classes, and I feel like it’s a great free resource to take notes with!
